God Needs You- Yes, YOU <3

Last night I went to a church sermon and the pastor talked about how EVERYTHING in the physical world is a trickle down from the spiritual world. He shared how everything and everyone is God.

This information was not news to me. But something about the way he said it, and kept repeating it, struck a chord in me.

What if you went through life like that? Believing that every single person you interact with, everything you touch, and every person you observe on your social media IS GOD.

People are not God in the sense that they control everything and they decide the fate of the world. But they are all God’s creations.

They are God’s creations fumbling around with all of the trials and tribulations that come with being a man.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t usually think of everyone as God. I think of CERTAIN people with a certain level of consciousness as from the seed of God, and the rest stuck in pain, fear, and separation I tend to completely right off.

But this is SO painful.

It's so painful to be around someone and not see the God within them.

It's so painful to not think of what they have to say as divine.

It's so painful to look at them and only see what they lack.

I know all the life coaches say it's important to surround yourself with positive people that you want to emulate, but what about all the moments in between with everyone else?

What about the moments with the Starbucks barista in a painful chapter?

What about when we interact with our parents from a different generation?

What about the moments when we ourselves when don’t have access to our shiny, high-vibration, best version of ourselves?

This sermon struck me deep to my core. God is everywhere and in everything. God is the abundance, joy and peace. AND God is also in the pain, the disgust and the tragedy.

No one is separated from God. And yet, everyone is separated from God because our souls are in these bodies.

I’m tired of the separation with people…

The “have” and the “have nots”.

The “chosen” and “the ordinary”.

The “famous” and “the forgotten”.

So many life coaches get so focused on rising and growing and becoming that they lose their humility. I idolize certain memoirists, TikTok influencers, and public speakers, but putting them on a pedestal has left me so lost.

I always see the light in everyone around me… so much so that I see them as God and sort of subconsciously start worshipping them. It takes me off my center, and I’ve been operating off-center for so long that I did not even realize it.

I want to strengthen my relationship with God. I want to put God’s will at the center of my life rather than these idols. I want to put the work into the tasks God has placed in my life instead of spending so much time observing other people.

We elevate other people so much and treat them as idols and hurt our own feelings. When really we are ALL children of God and we are all equal. So much pain and suffering could be avoided if we remembered this.

I hope anyone reading this remembers this and puts their relationship with God and their work on the tasks God has placed on their heart center stage. THAT is how we will change the world.

I believe in you! I see your divine spark! And I’m so grateful to be a part of your life journey.

You inspire me,

Nicole
